Well my 22 year old Craftsman garage door opener finally gave up the ghost at 1:15pm today so I began my search online and found 1- ABC Garage Door. I saw they were BBB rated too! I also noticed the 50 5* Star ratings and decided to call at 1:30pm when I spoke to James. He said he could be here by 4:00 TODAY. Well he called me on his way he got here by 3:30. Early - I like that! Told him my problem and he professionally told me that I should probably replace my old one and also recommended 2 new door springs. He priced it out and it seemed fair so he said he could immediately get this done for me TODAY!! Woo hoo! James went to work and took the old crap off my garage rafters and installed my new LiftMaster belt drive opener finishing it in a little over an hour!! Professionally installed and cleaned up my garage floor with broom and dustpan!! Could not be more satisfied as a San Pedro homeowner! We settled the bill by credit card and that was that!! ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND JAMES AND 1-ABC GARAGE DOOR SERVICES***

We were having a problem with our garage door opener and contacted 1-ABC Garage Door to come out and have a look. They arrived the same day at the scheduled time. They quickly diagnosed the problem, suggested a complete replacement and were gone in less than 30 mins. We called several places for quotes and 1-ABC Garage Door had the best price by far. James and one other worker were able to come back the next day with only a couple of hours notice. The entire job was done in about an hour. Fair price. Great customer service. Quality work. Who could ask for more? I am a happy customer. Definitely a 5-star review.

James of 1-ABC Garage Door is fantastic! During the several visits he made to our house for an estimate, installation, and followup, he was everything you could hope for: prompt, polite, friendly, informative, skilled, patient in his explanations, and fair in his pricing. Because we have an older house with a non-standard garage opening, the measuring and installation were complicated. But James handled the challenges with precision and great skill. My only suggestion is that you be sure to fully discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different models. At first we thought we would be able to get by with the cheapest basic model, but we are glad that instead we chose the insulated, heavier duty one. It seems more solid and secure. Thanks, James, for your great product and great customer service!

We needed a new garage door and motor so, based on the good Yelp ratings, we called 1-ABC Garage Door. James came out promptly and gave us a quote that was in line with what we were expecting. So we set an appointment for the installation. James' partner showed up on the date and time scheduled and worked very hard to do the installation. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the garage door as it is insulated and keeps our garage much warmer than the old wooden door. The recommended motor is very quiet and has worked like a charm. We definitely concur with all the positive reviews of this company on Yelp.

If you need your garage door fixed by a real pro call James! Not only did he do fantastic work in just under an hour he beat other quotes I got by almost 50%! So impressive and professional and REASONABLY priced!

James and the other nice guy came out to check my garage door opener that had taken a dump. They had everything they needed with them on their truck, so they did it on the spot. James even made time to run over to the neighbor across the street and program her garage opener to her car. fancy stuff.... :-) highly recommend.
